Can a vinyl pergola be attached to my house?
Yes. Attached vinyl pergolas use a structural ledger connection at the house wall — flashed and waterproofed like any of our attached structures — with the vinyl finish carried across the ledger beam. Attached structures need a building permit in most Chester and Delaware County municipalities, and JHL manages the full permit process.
Vinyl or aluminum — which low-maintenance pergola should I choose?
Choose vinyl when you want the traditional white, painted-wood look with classic trim detail.
