What Is a Pavilion?
A pavilion is a freestanding outdoor structure with a full pitched roof, providing complete protection from rain and sun.
A pavilion is a roofed outdoor structure — typically with a gable or hip roof, tongue-and-groove ceiling, and timber or stone columns — that creates a weatherproof outdoor room. Unlike a pergola, a pavilion has a solid roof, so it stays usable in rain. Pavilions often house outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and dining areas.
JHL Pergolas builds these across Chester County and the Main Line.
